Korean Translation Service Singapore

Korean papers are not kept in a drawer. They are printed new each time, and the print date sits right on the page. Many offices want one printed in the last three months, so paying for an old copy is money thrown away. Families, couples at ROM, students and Korean firms use our Korean translation service in Singapore for Korean document translation Singapore offices take, from ICA and MOM to schools and banks.

Your family in Korea can print a new copy online in a few minutes. Ask them first, then order from us.

The long ID number on your page is copied digit by digit. We never change one, and we never leave one out.

Older records show names in Chinese characters next to Korean. Both are read, so no name goes missing.

Korea and Singapore both use the apostille. That means one stamp, not a long line of them.

Families And Companies Booking Korean Document Translation Singapore

Two kinds of jobs share this desk. One is personal and slow. A sheet from Korea decides whether a form goes through. The other is business and fast. A paper is needed by Friday and a team in Seoul is waiting. Below are the people who send each kind.

Korean Families Moving Over

Korea to Singapore

ICA asks who your parents are and who you are married to. In Korea those two answers sit on two different sheets.

Couples Fixing A Wedding Date

Korea to Singapore

ROM wants proof that neither of you is already married. One Korean sheet shows that, and it must be a new print.

Students And School Offices

Korea to Singapore

Grade reports and leaving papers. The subject list and the score scale both have to come across, not just the final mark.

Korean Firms With A Base Here

Within Singapore

Company records, board papers and signed deals moving between a head office in Seoul and a team sitting in Singapore.

Shipyards, Tech And Beauty Brands

Within Singapore

Manuals, test sheets, labels and product pages where one wrong word turns into a safety issue or a lost sale.

Singaporeans Taking A Korean Job

Singapore to Korea

Local certificates and work papers written in Korean for a district office, a landlord or an employer over there.

Beyond English: Our Korean Language Translation Company Pairs

Most Korean work here ends up in English. Not all of it. Old sheets carry Chinese characters. Factory files head to Vietnam or Thailand. Big build jobs go to the Gulf. Each pair below is handled by someone who works in that pair every week.

Pre-2008 Records ↔ English

Korea changed its whole record system in 2008. Anything older follows the old layout, so it goes to people who have read that layout before.

Sets Of Papers Certified Korean Translation Singapore Covers

Korea does not put everything on one sheet. Birth, parents and marriage each sit on their own certificate, so most people order two or three at a time. Business files work in a different way again. Both piles are set out below.

Sheets Coming From Korea

Korean pages, read here in English

One sheet shows your own details. A second shows your parents and children. A third shows whether you are married. An office here often wants two of the three, and people usually send only one. Tell us what the form is asking for and we will say which sheets you still need. Common routes:

Work Going Out In Korean

Where sounding right matters most

A safety notice must be plain. A product page must sell. A word-for-word Korean product page reads flat to a Korean shopper, and flat copy does not sell anything. So we ask who the reader is and what you want them to do before we write the first line. What firms send most:

Four Stages In Korean To English Translation Work

Four stages, and the first one you can do on your own in ten seconds. Look at the date on your sheet. That one check saves more money here than anything else on this page.

1

Look At The Print Date

Turn to the date on your sheet. If it is more than a few months old, ask your family to print a new one before you spend anything here.

2

Send The Pages And Your Passport

All sheets, edge to edge, with the passport page. The passport tells us how your name is spelt in English, and we follow it.

3

Agree The Price, Then We Start

One price, one date, and a note if we think you are missing a sheet. Nothing is typed until you say yes.

4

Take Back The Signed File

A stamped PDF by email, or printed copies by courier. If the office asks us anything later, we answer it for you.

Plain Rates For Korean Translation Pricing Singapore

The price is agreed before we begin and it stays the same. If a stamp is really needed, it goes on its own line so you can see what it costs.

1. Personal Sheets

Family and marriage sheets, ID papers, school records, police letters, court orders

S$55/page

starting from

  • A sheet is priced by page, not by how many names are on it
  • Send two or three sheets together and the rate per page drops
  • Notary and apostille steps are priced on their own, only if needed

2. Business And Product Files

Contracts, company records, manuals, labels, product pages, ads, meeting notes

S$0.26/word

starting from

  • You tell us the reader, and we write for that reader
  • Lines that repeat across a manual set are counted once
  • Your word list is saved, so the next batch matches this one

Waste And Slip-Ups In Korean Certificate Translation Orders

Two of the five below just cost money. The other three get a file sent back. All five take one short chat to avoid, which is why our certified translation firm in Singapore asks a few questions before quoting.

Five Habits That Cost Korean Clients Money

Check the print date on your sheet before you order anything

Paying For An Old Print

A sheet from two years ago often gets sent back. A fresh one takes minutes to print in Korea and costs almost nothing there.

Sending One Sheet Instead Of Three

Korea splits your details across several sheets. Send only one and the office writes back asking for the rest, and you wait again.

Showing The Whole ID Number

That long number tells a stranger your birth date and more. Many offices are happy with part of it hidden, so ask before you send it.

Family Names Spelt Apart

One brother writes Lee, the other writes Yi. Both are correct. On one family file, two spellings look like two families.

Word For Word Product Pages

Korean shoppers can tell in one line. A page turned over word by word reads flat, and flat pages do not sell anything.

How We Work

Set Rules We Follow On Korean Jobs

We would rather lose a small job than sell you a wasted one

We Check The Date First

Before we quote, we look at when your sheet was printed. If it is too old we tell you to get a new one instead of taking your money.

Numbers Copied, Never Touched

Every long number is typed digit by digit and checked again by a second person. We do not shorten, round or tidy any of them.

One Spelling For The Whole File

We ask how each family member spells the name on their passport, then keep those exact spellings across every sheet in the set.

Old Layouts Read By Old Hands

Anything printed before the 2008 change follows the older shape. Those go to people who have read that shape many times before.

Worries People Raise Before English To Korean Translation

Prices and steps are above. These are the things people really stop to ask on the phone, usually with a sheet in one hand and a form they cannot finish in the other.

My sheet was printed two years ago. Can I still use it?

Ask the office first, and be ready to hear no. Korean sheets are printed new each time, so a fresh one is easy to get and many offices want one from the last three months. Getting a new print in Korea takes a few minutes and costs very little. Paying us to work on an old sheet, then being told to start again, costs a lot more. Send us a photo and we will read the date for you before you spend anything.

Which sheet do I actually need to order from Korea?

It depends on what the form is asking. One sheet shows your own details, such as your birth. A second shows your parents and children. A third shows whether you are married. Most people here need two of the three. Tell us what the office wants to see and we will tell you which sheets to ask for. That way your family in Korea prints the right ones the first time, not the wrong ones twice.

My long ID number is printed in full. Should some of it be hidden?

Very often, yes, and this is worth thinking about before you send anything. That number can be printed in full or with part of it hidden, and you choose which when the sheet is printed. Many offices are fine with the shorter form, and it keeps your details safer. Ask the office which they want. Whatever is on your page, we copy it exactly as it is. We never shorten a number ourselves and we never add one back.

My brother spells our family name Lee and my passport says Yi.

Both are right, and that is the problem. The same Korean name can be written in English several ways, and no rule says which one you must use. On a family file, two spellings can look like two different families. So we ask for each person's passport page and copy those exact spellings, then add a short note showing the Korean name so anyone checking can see it is one family. Send all the passports together at the start.

My old family record is full of Chinese characters. Can that still be read?

Yes. Korea changed its record system in 2008, and papers from before that follow an older shape, with names printed in Chinese characters next to the Korean. People still send these in for family and property matters. They go to a reader who knows that older style. They take longer and cost more than a modern sheet, and we tell you that before starting rather than after.

There is a check number at the bottom of my sheet. Does that go into the translation?

It does. That number lets the receiving office look your sheet up and confirm it is real, so leaving it out weakens the whole document. We copy it exactly and note where it sits on the page. Keep the original print with you as well, because some offices want to see both together. If your copy is faint and the number is hard to read, tell us and we will ask for a clearer scan.

Do you need the paper posted from Seoul, or is a photo enough?

A photo or a PDF is enough for us. Ask whoever prints it to keep the page flat, use daylight, and capture all four corners plus the back. Do not crop, because stamps and side notes live near the edge. Since these sheets are printed fresh anyway, the easiest route is for your family to print one and send the file straight to you the same day. No posting, no waiting.

Korea can give an apostille online. Will that be fine here?

Usually yes, since Korea and Singapore both work on the apostille system, so one certificate replaces the old line of stamps. A small number of offices still want to hold a paper version, so ask yours before you choose. Tell us who is receiving your file and we will check what is being asked for now rather than repeating what was true a few years ago.

We are putting our product page into Korean. Straight translation, or something else?

Something else, and it costs a little more for a good reason. A page turned over line by line reads flat to a Korean shopper, and flat copy does not sell. What works is keeping your meaning and your promise, then writing it the way a Korean buyer expects to read it. For a safety notice we do the opposite and stay very close to the original. Tell us which one you have and we will treat it that way.

Our staff meeting was in Korean. Do we get a transcript or a translation?

Both, and in that order. The recording is typed out in Korean first, with speaker names and times. That Korean transcript is the record. The English version then sits beside it. Doing it this way means anyone can play the audio and check it against the Korean, then check the Korean against the English. Going straight to English leaves nothing in the middle to check against.

Not sure which sheet you are holding? Send a photo and we will read it. Ask our Korean desk directly
