How to Apply for a Work Holiday Pass for Singapore?

The procedure of applying for the Singapore work holiday pass through any of the programs is divided into three groups is as follows:

Applying for the work holiday pass

You can apply for the work holiday pass online by visiting the Ministry of manpower website.

  • In the first step, you have to select the program under which you are looking to apply for the work holiday pass: Work Holiday Programme or Work and Holiday Visa Programme
  • Then you will require entering information like details of your education, contact information and your personal details.
  • You will have to attach an electronic copy of the needed document given below.

The newly filled MOM’s entry approval application for new pass holders coming from the higher-risk regions/countries (e.g., all countries/regions, except Australia, Brunei, Hong Kong, Macao, Mainland China, and New Zealand) are not accepted anymore.

Note: Pass holders are asked to take up the medical insurance with the relevant coverage before they visit Singapore. The pass holder will be responsible for the medical expenses if they get affected by the COVID-19 symptoms or test positive after their 14 days of arrival in Singapore.

Cancellation of Work Holiday Pass (under Work Holiday Programme) (WHP)

When to cancel the pass

  • After your motive of applying for the pass gets completed, you are required to cancel your work holiday pass. You have two options through which you can cancel your pass either you can do it yourself, or you can get it done by an employment agent.
  • You can cancel your pass before its validity period of 6 months.

Note:
